Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of GLaDOS, operated by Aperture, Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
One person, one account. Accounts, subscriptions and connection credentials may not be shared, resold or transferred unless your plan explicitly allows it (for example, Team plans).
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. You may not use it to send spam, distribute malware, attack or scan other networks, infringe intellectual property, or harm minors.
We may limit, suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the network, degrade service for others, or violate these terms.
Rules of the road
- No account sharing or resale — one account per person. Don’t resell your subscription or share it in group chats, public pages or “free node” lists.
- No illegal or harmful content — no fraud, gambling, drugs, content that exploits minors, or anything else that is illegal where you or our servers are.
- No attacks, scanning or spam — no port or vulnerability scanning, DDoS, brute-force logins, bulk email or SMS, mass sign-ups, or scraping that breaks a site’s terms.
- No abusive traffic — no heavy BitTorrent or P2P seeding that brings copyright complaints or slows the line for everyone else.
- Don’t put the line at risk — no spreading fake news, no political campaigns or organizing, and never post our nodes or your subscription link in public.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you select. Traffic quotas and features are as described on the plan at the time of purchase.
Refunds are handled case by case through support. Unused time or traffic is not otherwise refundable.
Service availability
We work to keep the network fast and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Nodes, routes and features may change or be unavailable from time to time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aperture, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email; continued use after they take effect means you accept them.
